We Be Looming
Here's a few examples of the Rainbow Loom creations that I Riley and I have made over the past 4 weeks. I've excluded all of the bracelets because there are too many of those to count!
We also made Olaf and next up is Elsa from Frozen followed by the Care Bears!

Rubber Band Bracelet Craze!
The rubber band bracelet craze has hit our house in full effect! Ri has been making them at school and has been begging us for a loom. She's been visiting the kindergarten class (yes, between her visiting kindergarten and Jacob sitting on the potty and us just purchasing his first pack of Pull-Ups, it's almost too much for this momma to handle) so that she can make bracelets with the school age kids, plus her phonics teacher is covering for the kindergarten teacher while she's on maternity leave and she's the rainbow loom master! I bought Riley a Rainbow Loom but plan on holding on to it until after her surgery because I figure that will be a great activity for her while she is recovering (she's been dropping several hints that the bracelets would be so much easier with the loom) so in the meantime we have been YouTubing videos on how to make them with a fork. Even Marc is getting involved in making them, they are quite addictive, I spent an hour and a half making a chevron pattern bracelet on Saturday. And the best part of this craze, she will sit quietly for at least an hour working on these bracelets!

| What's going to work? Team Work! Jacob likes to be the administrator of the rubber bands |
| My fork chevron bracelet, it would probably be easier with an adult fork but I use one of the kids' forks so no one loses an eye ball when the fight breaks out |

I'm Bringing Home A Baby Bumble Bee
Anyone in Girl Scouts remembers that song, Riley has been singing this song non-stop with me. Friday I went to get Riley from Day Care and she ran up to me and said "Mommy I make bumble bee." I had no idea what she was talking about until her teacher told her we had to give me my Mother's Day present. Riley insisted on handing me the present herself and carrying it out to the car, it was so cute the pride that she had in giving me my present, except that she told me again that it was a Bumble Bee (I had still had no idea what was in store for me though), we need to work on the surprise factor. We went out into the car and Riley had me open my present, sure enough, inside was a Bumble Bee, an abstract Bumble Bee but it is most definitely going to work with me and will be front and center on my desk! Riley even called Marc over when he got home from work to show him her handy work.

Project Runway
Daddy put Riley in her new footless sleeper tonight, here she is modeling it. It kind of came out as capris since I forgot I had already cut both legs and cut one again, so I had to cut the other and it came out more as a capri sleeper, perfect for summer, right? I mean I did it on purpose! Again, I am no domestic Goddess but they work! (PS - Notice Riley got her cast signed! Auntie Ralsto signed it for her last weekend!)
