What does one do when it's in the mid-80s in mid-October??? Seriously, the heat has been ridiculous and if it doesn't break soon, someone might get hurt! Well you head to the Pumpkin Patch of course! Riley's bestie, Bella invited us to the pumpkin patch with her and her parents out in Livermore, it was a different patch than we usually go to and it was a great time (despite this pregnant momma being very hot and uncomfortable). They have way more to do at this particular patch than the one we usually go to including, a train, corn maze (which we skipped), a petting zoo (which Riley was afraid of), a straw bale maze (which we also skipped), a playground (also skipped), pony rides (which we did twice), and of course PUMPKINS! Riley and Bella had a ton of fun together and after spending a few hours there we all headed to dinner. A super fun time! The only draw back of this pumpkin patch versus the one we normally go to is that this one is right off of the freeway whereas the one we usually go to is inland some in the country so you definitely get more of a country feel but it was certainly a great time with great new friends!
